so. today was kind weird. had to get up early for work, 7am is early for me. i had to meet the truck drivers and dave over at dhs to move the set from dhs to cvhs. after we got it over to chip, herb and i talked for a while about alot of things.. then changed some lights... at which point.. i started feeling sick... my side hurt REAL bad... i was going on the lift and moving the lift so it didnt exactly help the situation. i was ready to go to the dr. but then i started feeling better when i got to my moms house.
i was on my way there and my dad called and said my sisters boyfriend was there again.. they have been dating for 2 days haha. its just weird seeing my sister with a boy... eh. hard to explain i guess. my little brother was spying on them and said he saw them making out!!! ahh!!! my little sister!!!!
any way. i watched the puppy for a while and came home.. i tried to start the snow blower to do our drive way but it wouldnt start. so i came in the house relaxed and layed on the couch.. about a half hour later the doorbell rang and one of my neighbors was at the door with a shovel. she said 'do you need yo snow done?" i said "ummmmmmmm" she said "oh please please you do" so i replied "ok" and she shoveled the snow!!
wow!
moral of the story. im real tired and i have a huge night of partying ahead of me!

so big john and i just got back from the bar.. the eastside tavern.... it was nice. cheap drinks
he went to bed and i'm watching the news
the news says that the doom day clock has moved to 11:55pm... mid night is atomic destruction.... its a LITTLE BIT scary.
umm. i havnt updated in a while... what else is new???
i guess the only thing that is new is that living in the house is awesome...... except i really need to start cutting lawn and landscaping again.
in the mean time i'm working for CVC TV which is the schools cable net work... its pretty cool cuz i'm the newest employee but i out rank, and make more than everyone else on the crew.
i need to get back to lawns, landscaping and three cs....

I haven’t posted anything in a while.... not like any one reads this thing any way. Things have been pretty weird lately; I haven’t really had any free time between schoolin and workin. The days just seem to run together, especially with this snow and cold. It also seems like I’m kind of getting pushed out/ replaced in my little social group. It might just be that everyone is away at school and stuff. That or I’m becoming lamer then ever.
I applied for a job at the Emerald Theater today; it would be totally awesome if I got it. The house is about half a mile from there.
I'm glad I’m almost done cutting lawn for the season though I will miss the extra dough a month. My business partner has started to flake out the last few weeks and I’ve been doing almost all of the work, it really sucks.
I'm looking forward to moving into the new house, but first we need a closing date.
The house is going to be pretty much awesome though, and I think I had a really good idea last night. It goes like this:
Since we cant really find anyone interested in renting the basement bedroom (we are finishing the basement) I think we will make a recording studio in the basement. CVHS is getting a 20,000-dollar upgrade, thanks to me, and getting new sound equipment and mics. Sooooo I’ll take the old board that they will throw out anyway, and put it in the basement. Then all that is really needed is some mics, XLR cable, and an interface that converts the instruments to digital tracks that get put on the computer. Then everything can be edited with the wonderful 'protools' program. So instead of making rent money from someone, we can charge him or her to record. idk, maybe it will work, maybe not. But at least I can say I have a recording studio in the basement. I'm sure my wonderful employees know some bands that would want a cheap recording done.
I’m looking forward to the move, but at the same time it’s going to be weird. Everyone will have to come hang out. Being close to a real downtown, real as it gets in Michigan at least, will be really cool. And having all the free Coors beer I can drink wont be bad either ;)
well, idk. I think im going to go iron my shoelaces or something being that I have nothing better to do on a Friday night.

So i just got back from SoCal. It's depressing returning to this crappy little town after spending the last week in orange county. Spending the day on Huntington beach or Venice beach is much more enticing than driving around, or sitting in starbucks.
I think i might move out there, it seems everyone is hiring. Its much diff. than Michigan’s broke ass economy where you have a better chance of being a part of the rapture than finding a worth while job. Not to mention there is a TON more to do out there. You are about an hour away from mountains, 2 hrs from the desert, and 30 min or so from any downtown or beach. Its perfect.
My cousins that I stayed with were ‘rad’ man. They say things like “dude, rad, man, bitchin, and bro” quite a bit. They paid for food, gas and I stayed with them all for free, so barely any money was spent! Whoo hooo

should you be interested in moving to the west coast and starting a new life, let me know. Manhattan beach is perfeccct. We can be like Tuna and George from the movie “Blow”.
The only thing I really missed at home was a handful of friends, but I’m sure they’d visit out there, wouldn’t you? |

it was very awkward to see Eminem in chippewa valley high school.. he was there for his adopted daughters dance recitial. the owners pointed him out to us, and we saw his 2 hugeeeeee body guards. it was pretty cool to have a celeb in the valley.. a bit exciting.
in other news. i have never received so many compliments on how well a show went ever. im pretty happy with the result today, dispite my crew being a bunch of buttholes.
yesterday was one of the best parties in a while. it was so much fun hanging with everyone, yea we had almost 20 people, and talking with rays mom and dad.
so yes. i spent 3 days already this week in ohio, and tomorrow will make 4. going to the harley drag races with kyle, big john, my dad and my uncle. it should be cool. we are gunna meet johns dad down there.
the few people who read this that i dont hang with alot, you should call more often. and those i do hang with alot, you should call more often..

i've been lucky lately (knock on wood) i got a refund from dodge for work they did on my car that shouldnt have happened. i wrote a letter and they refunded me. today i got a kick ass deal on a lawn mower. and the whole thing with big joe.... woo hoo...

i have never been in the right place at the right time... EVER... and im never lucky.
well all that changed. i was making up some flyers at the library, and this rich guy looked at them and said he had some work that needed to be done. the next thing i know, we are writing up bids for over 2 grand.... this is to be made in one weekend. and he is the head of promotions for viacom... he said he will get us other jobs in his community.. (his house is 1.6 mil) and his house will be on the ccover of hour magazine. he said he belives in giving credit where credit is due, so we will be mentioned... so this is goooooood promotion for us. this guy said we werent charging enough for weekly maintenance and said to charge more, he also said moneyh is not an issue.
he also offered to let me use his bently when i go on dates. so thats always a plus. im sure he could really help out with a job in the future too, maybe at mtv or viacom.
but, its nice to have a motivated partner. so, sucess is always fun....
so lifes cute now.... we will have fun baking this weekend....

so basically... im trying to decide wether to go back to three c's or not. i could use the money but idk if i want to get up early and have the long hours again. i guess the cvhs job has really spoiled me.
tonight at the valley was fun. after i stressed over the variety show all day... i ran into the teacher running the show in the halls. he said "this show is for the parents and i really dont give a shit. its going fine" so taht easied my worries.
my cousins friend is a teacher at cvhs. kevin bia.. every time i see him i picture him and my cousin showing up at my cottage about 10 years ago in an old hippy van. god konws what they were doing onthe ride up. i also picture him riding this gokart we used to have....
so after the rehersal today john (security), phil (custodian) and I were sitting around the main office when phil cleaned talking shit like we always do. usually we talk about chicks we would bang, and rate teachers on a scale of one to ten. but this tiime we were talkigna bout really nasty stuff. like black men, and being in the porn business... and we found out that one of the social helper ladies was still in the office. haha... we were alil scared.
we continued our conversations in the hallway by the gym... they were even worse.... those guys are a riot.
so... im laying in bed stressed about the variety show thursday and friday...and wondering if i should go back to three c's or not.... i guess a way to look at the three cs thing is taht its easy money.. and its just sitting there waiting for me to get it... so idk... i guess its worth it......uggggggg. |

lets see. i went to school today. then "worked" for a little bit. while working i talked to Jill and Garret, very cool kids.
i got a call from bobby, telling me about a badass song they just wrote, he wanted me to come down and hear it, but i was working. he recorded it for me and brought it to the bar. it is VERY badass. during the first break between sets the band jumped in my car and checked out the song. it was pretty cool.
bob called on my way to the bar and asked if i wanted to hang out saturday and record a podcast with him, i agreed.....of course. i'll pick him up and chill most of the day with him, it will be cool.
i got to the bar and dave had a seat waiting for me.
there were some WEIRD motherfuckers in the bar tonight, worse that the usual crowd. drunken chicks falling, crazy screamign girls, and a coked out biker named chance. chance is usallly up at the bar, but very mellow. tonight he was very intense. he professed his love for everyone after he choked them for a few seconds. then he exlaimed "OUTLAWS MOTHER FUCKER" and said he wanted to get in a fight. he rambled on and made everyone uncomfortable. it went on and on and on. he almost raped some chick on the dance floor. real classy place huh??
any way, bobby fucking rocked, as well as the rest of teh band.

lying to friends is cool. But being wrong and refusing to admit it is even more cool.
having money to do things when you want is cool, but its even cooler to say you dont have money when asked to go somewhere. that pretty much goes back to the whole lying thing.
somehow, i always end up being the bad guy... even though everyone agrees it was your fuck up..
strange..... its my fault and i'm the bad person or something.. yet you are the one in a depression, sitting home alone with no one to talk to and nothing to do..... and having to drive 3 hours to be with friends... it must suck
any ways.
this passed weekend was fun. ray, eric, courtney and myself went to msu friday night. we partied with karl and got trashed. i saw alot of people i havnt hung out with in a long time. john, cecil, brian, mike. ect. the hotel was cool except for the million black people. walking in the 4 degree weather wasnt fun.
windsor was fun. plenty of booze was consumed. the bars were fun. the hotel was nice. eric won at the casino. we met a ton of people in the hotel and on the bus to the casino.
quite an enjoyable weekend.
now, i want to go somewhere warm really bad. if anyone is interested in going to florida, or to cali let me know fo sho. |

jager is cool. the don, eric and i obtained a fifth tonight. we say erics hot hot hot hot coworker at office max.
before we drank we stopped and visited myles' bro alex at his place of employment. hes cool, we are going to hang out next week. i drunk dialed myles, courtney, dave n. andrew, and various others. it was entertaining. i professed my love for each of them. it was fun.
eric puked in the dons shurb on his front poarch. then he was too drunk to drive so the don and i, being not really sober, had to drive him home to romeo. it was an adventure.
but all ended well.

rays mom said that me and curt look more like brothers then him and ray... i thought it was funny
i spent 1500 dollars of the schools money in 3 days.
i was sitting in the aud with my tech crew talkign with them. they were sitting all around me and one of the twins, winston, started braiding my hair. then they were playing hackey sack and guitar on stage, and i laughed at what hippies they looked like.
the tech crew tends to hug me alot,
i want to thank dave for calling me every night after the musical.. also i want to thank eric, courtney, little dave, and all the others that cared enough to come see the musical. It kinda sucks that its over, i wont be seeing liz, kent or my tech crew every day any more :(
i got a nice tip from kent :)
some of the female cast thought i was "hot" and started calling me "jamie hotness". flattering.... i guess.
today i will relax, tomorrow i go back to cvhs for set clean up, and prep for the variety show try outs on tuesday. yee hawwwww.
thursday, dave and i went to the erin pub, his wife met us up there. we talked about all lifes lil problems. ugg.
bobby played a song that i gave him a dvd video of. he dedicated it to me :)

i walked into the back room after the show today, and brett was sleeping ontop of a 12ft shelf ontop of a piece of carpet on top of some lighting equipment. it was redic.
winston and brett are pretty crazy kids.....
a hippy was braiding my hair in the aud today. i had fun today at work, and after work at BK. we were supposed to go to carabas but the line was too long. so like 9 hippies and i walked over to BK. it was quite a motley crew.
on the way out i noticed a hug dick on my car. i saw meldrum (piano player from the musical) on the way out of the parking lot and he said "nice drawing on your car, oh.. its going into a....NICE"
it was funny.
ahhh christ.. after this the variety show is coming up.
